Fashion Show and Gift Auction to Benefit RBR Latino Scholarship Fund Set for February 10

The SOURCE at Red Bank Regional (RBR) and its kind
benefactors are helping to make dreams come true through the Andrew Kroon Memorial Scholarship Program. This program, founded over ten years ago, has provided scholarships for qualifying Latino students at RBR to assist them in affording their dream of college.  To benefit the
scholarship, The SOURCE Foundation is sponsoring a fashion show and gift auction on Sunday, February 10 from 12 to 3 pm at the Buona Sera Restaurant, located at
50 Maple Avenue in Red Bank.  Tickets are $40 for
admission which includes the fashion show, lunch and coffee bar.  The event also features a 50/50 raffle and
raffle basket auction. For tickets, contact Suzanne Keller, the SOURCE Director, at 732-842-8000 ext. 1236 or email skeller@rbrhs.org.

Fashions will be presented by Uphoria, a unique boutique in Little Silver that offers clothing that both mother and daughter would be delighted to sport.  And speaking of sports, the Sport Spot in Shrewsbury will showcase its active wear for tennis, swimming and skiing. RBR students will model and D.Js. will provide entertainment.

The SOURCE is a RBR’s School-Based Youth Services Program whose mission is to remove all obstacles that impede students’ academic success.  It services range from quality mental health counseling to learning support initiatives. The SOURCE also offers scholarship opportunities for all students and forms alliances with community organizations to garner additional funding for focused scholarships such as the Andrew Kroon Memorial
Scholarship fund. Most recently, it has actively aided those in the RBR community most severely affected by Super Storm Sandy with its Hurricane relief fund.
