Community Corner

Sandy Relief Thanksgiving Dinner

Surf Fisherman For Recovery will be hosting a Thanksgiving dinner for communities affected by Hurricane Sandy at the First Presbyterian Church at 255 Harding Rd, Red Bank, NJ on Thursday, November 22, 2012 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The church is located minutes from Monmouth Race Track and many shore points. We also plan on hand-delivering meals to families that cannot reach the venue.

We have secured 40 turkeys and received generous pledges of desserts, rolls, and beverages from local businesses. At this time we are asking the community to donate what they can, including but not limited to: food, drink, paper plates, napkins, trays, cups, forks, and knives. For a full list of items still needed, please contact us.

We welcome those who have suffered from this storm as well all who have been working hard to rebuild to join us for a hot meal and to share the Thanksgiving spirit.
