Heart Health: Understanding the New Guidelines

Everyone can take steps to help prevent cardiovascular disease. Join Delia Dobrescu, MD, Cardiology and Electrophysiology, Monmouth Medical Center, to learn about the causes and risk factors that lead to heart disease and take steps toward prevention and treatment. New guidelines recently issued by the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology for preventing heart attack and strokes will be discussed.  This program, co-sponsored by SCAN (Social Community Activities Network), will take place at Boscov’s third floor auditorium, Monmouth Mall located at Routes 35 & 36 in Eatontown.  Registration is required by calling SCAN at 732-542-1326.  Free.
