Community Corner

Lights of Hope

On October 29th at 6:30pm,
around the time that Superstorm Sandy hit the New Jersey coast, thousands will
gather on the waterfront of the hardest hit areas to stand united.  Side
by side, they will hold up a light in remembrance of all that was lost and destroyed
one year ago. Residents of Union Beach and the Bayshore area will hold up their
“Lights of Hope” showing the world that they are committed to rebuilding their
community, and offer hope to those who were affected and forever changed by
this disaster. The event will take place at JakeaBob’s Bay, 525 Front
Street Union Beach, NJ.  You can register
for the event at http://unionbeachlightsofhope-estw.eventbrite.com. For more information contact Cordelia Donovan
at cordelia@cordeliadonovaninc.com or 646-678-6048.
