Red Bank Roller Vixens roller derby bout

Are you ready for some roller derby? The Red Bank Roller Vixens are!

The Vixens are excited to announce their first home bout of the season this Saturday, July 13, against the Shoreline Roller Derby Belladonnas of Connecticut. Also playing that evening will be the Red Bank Riot Girls, New Jersey’s first junior roller derby team.

The bout will be held at the Tab Ramos Sports Center, 17 Blair Road in Aberdeen. Fans over 21 can enjoy the action from the sports center’s bar, conveniently overlooking the arena.

Doors open at 6 p.m., the first whistle goes off at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10, but first responders and military get in for just $8. Admission is free for children under 12.  Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/396749.

Can’t make it Saturday? Not to worry – the Red Bank Roller Vixens will be back at Tab Ramos on Sept. 21, competing against New Jersey Roller Derby, and on Nov. 16, for a rematch against the Hartford Area Roller Derby Bedrockers. For more information, check out www.redbankrollervixens.com.
