'Project Homeless Connect' Seeks to Help Most Vulnerable on Jan. 29

The Annual Project Homeless Connect event in Red Bank will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 9 am - 2 pm.   The event will provide free medical screenings, flu shots and HIV testing.  

Coats, clothing and toiletries will also be available to all participants at no cost.  

Representatives from Social Services (SNAPS - food stamps), Medicaid/Medicare, Employment & Training, Veterans Affairs, and other agencies will be on-site to assist individuals and families.  

All in attendance will have an opportunity to be a guest for lunch at the JBJ Soul Kitchen, at 207 Monmouth Street, Red Bank.  

The event will take place at the Pilgrim Baptist Church at 172 Shrewsbury Ave, Red Bank.  Sponsors are The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders  in conjunction with  Pilgrim Baptist Church and the JBJ Soul Kitchen.
