CakeWalk @ Light The Night Pink (Cake Decorating Contest)

Calling all local cake decorators !

Do you love to bake? Shrewsbury is going to become "Pinkbury" the week of May 4-12th in support of Paint The Town Pink. The Borough of Shrewsbury is hosting their First Annual "Light the Night Pink" event on Sunday, May 6th at 6pm at Shrewsbury Borough Hall. The festivities will include a Paint The Town Pink-themed Cake Decorating Contest with categories for Amateurs, Amateurs
under 18, and Professional Bakers. Awards will be given for Most Delicious, Most Creative and Best Use of Pink. The cakes will be displayed at the event along a “CakeWalk”. Paint The Town Pink is a community wide-effort to raise awareness of the importance of annual mammography. The goal is to encourage women in our community
aged 40 and older to have their annual mammogram; to raise money to provide mammograms to uninsured or underinsured women in our community; and to make a
difference in the lives of women in our community. Early detection is a woman’s best defense against breast cancer. For more information on Paint the Town
