Flag Day is an important Elk tradition as patriotism has characterized the Elks organization since it's start. It was President Harry Truman, an Elk himself, that made June 14th, a national observance of the symbol of our country.

And the Lodge has a flag drop-off box, open to the public, in front of our building so unserviceable flags can be retired with dignity.
