Longtime Red Bank resident Rose G. Jackson died on Aug. 28 at 85.
A graduate of what was known as Rumson High School, Rose lived in Red Bank for 66 years. She was a member of the Fisk Chapel AME Church, Fair Haven, according to legacy.com.
Rose was predeceased by her husband, Raymond L. Jackson, in 1991. The couple was married for 45 years.
She is survived by: two sons, Raymond, and wife Rosemary, of Neptune, and Henry, at home; two daughters, Rose-Marie and Jasmin Jackson, both at home; her brother, Henry Reevey, and wife Sonia, of Fair Haven; sister, Shirley Reevey, of Tinton Falls; 10 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30 at the Fisk Chapel AME Church, 38 Fisk St., Fair Haven. A funeral service will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 at the church. Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
