Today, October 7th at the United Methodist Church at 247 Broad Street, Red Bank,7-8:30PM, Senator Jennifer Beck along with other legislative candidates will meet for what is billed an "Environmental Forum."
What is that you may ask? well the forum is topic specific. Ask any questions outside that particular topic, and you just may be ignored by Senator Beck and the other incumbents--and for good political reason: to avoid embarrassment to the incumbent candidates.
What people truly want to know is if Senator Beck will call for an independent investigation into allegations of pension fraud by her friend, former Sheriff Kim Guadagno.
This fraud was committed in Senator Beck's district--but so far she has been silent on the matter.
Ask Senator Beck if she will call an independent investigation on this fraudulent and tax payer unfriendly matter. And while at it, ask the Senator if she finally intends to help Red Bank residents with some sort of tax relief with Trenton based legislation. Red Bank tax-exempt properties make up nearly 16% of property in Red Bank--the average in the state runs about 5% These exempted properties cause the taxpayers of Red Bank to make up the shortfall. And quite frankly--the residents of Red Bank need some sort of relief.
It's time to hold Jenny's feet to the fire, and ask her the tough questions--if your allowed.
