Accused Drug Dealer Faces Indictment, Additional Heroin Charges

Bartlett Lentini, facing charges out of Middletown, indicted on charge out of Tinton Falls

A Middletown man has been indicted on a charge of possession of heroin. 

Bartlett Lentini, 24, of Carpenter Street was indicted Thursday by a Monmouth County grand jury after being arrested Sep. 5 in Tinton Falls when police allegedly found him in possession of the drug.

Lentini also faces charges out of Middletown, where he was arrested at home on Dec. 7.

Middletown police charged him with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of heroin with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public park and possession of hypodermic syringes.

Police had said that the arrest was the result of a monthlong investigation conducted by Officer Raymond Sofield and Det. Kevin Gardiner into the distribution of a significant amount of heroin, allegedly from the residence by Lentini.
