Colts Neck Man Accused of Stealing Scripts From Little Silver Walgreens

The Colts Neck man also was charged with stealing from churches in Holmdel and Red Bank.

A Colts Neck man who had been accused of burglarizing a Red Bank church is being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution after being arrested on charges of stealing prescription blanks from a Little Silver pharmacy to obtain drugs.

Freehold Township Police arrested Robert Hanna, of Colts Neck and charged him with stealing, forgery, and fraud, following multiple incidents that occurred last summer.

Hanna, 44, faces eight charges after he stole prescription blanks from the Freehold Borough CVS and Little Silver Walgreens and used the stolen scripts to obtain prescription drugs, court documents state.

According to Hanna’s complaint warrant, on June 18, July 23 and Sept. 25, Hanna forged the stolen prescription blanks from the Freehold Borough CVS and used them to obtain Adderall. On June 12, July 30, Aug. 13, and Sept. 20, Hanna also allegedly used the stolen prescription blanks from the Little Silver Walgreens to fraudulently obtain Adderall.

On Sept. 26, Freehold Township police said they found Hanna in possession of a burglary tool, a small black hammer, and large locking blade knife, for which he had no legitimate purpose.

Since April, Hanna has been arrested and charged on separate occasions with the burglaries of St. Catharine's Church in Holmdel, St. James Catholic Church in Red Bank, and charged with a personal theft from a woman in Howell.

Hanna has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $32,000 bail for the eight recent charges.
