Area Man Arrested on 2012 Red Bank Armed Robbery Charges

Red Bank police have arrested an area man on charges in connection with a 2012 armed robbery in town.

Joshua Stepney, 28, of 60 William St., Tinton Falls, was arrested on May 2 for his part in a robbery "in the area of" 3 West Front Street on Nov. 18, 2012, according to the complaint warrant. 

Stepney allegedly put the robbery victim "in fear of immediate bodily injury while committing a theft," it said. That information was obtained by the co-defendant in the alleged crime while making a video statement during the investigation, according to the complaint.

Stepney was held on $50,000 bail with no 10 percent option, set by Judge William Himelman.
