A Red Bank man has been charged with multiple crimes after police said he sexually assaulted his daughters in his Elm Place home sometime between 2009 and 2010.
Jose Fuentes, of the first block of Elm Place, was charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. According to police reports, Fuentes, 52, committed sexual assault against his two daughters, identified only as A.F. and L.F., by touching them in their vaginal area under their clothing.
L.F. and A.F. were 14 and 9 years old, respectively, at the time of the alleged offenses.
The reason for the delay in reporting and or arrest was not immediately clear, though police charged Fuentes with the crimes following a forensic interview and criminal investigation.
Fuentes was ordered held at Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $200,000 bail with no 10 percent option and was ordered to have no contact with the victims and family and to not return to the scene.
