Police: Red Bank Man Was Under the Influence When He Drove Into Home
Resident charged with DUI in Tuesday evening crash
A Red Bank man has been charged with driving under the influence after police said he drove into a Branch Avenue home.
Capt. Darren McConnell said borough police responded to a crash at 7:51 p.m. Tuesday at Spring Street and Ambassador Drive. He said Frederick Schwarz, 46, of Red Bank had failed to stop at Spring Street and continued into a property on Branch Avenue, damaging a fence and causing minor damages to the home.
There were no injuries, McDonnell said.

Upon further investigation officers determined Schwarz had been driving under the influence, and he was charged accordingly, McDonnell said.
