Two cars collided at the intersection of W. Front and Pearl Streets in Red Bank late Wednesday morning causing minor traffic delays but no injuries, police said.
The vehicles hit head on at around 10:15 a.m., though at relatively modest speeds, and were moved to the side of the road with minor effort. The accident did, however, prompt plenty of rubber necking, which caused traffic to back up on both sides of Front Street causing some delays.
It was not immediately clear if any summonses were issued following the wreck. Police said drivers and occupants in both cars declined medical treatment.
