Five Arrested in Separate Burglary Incidents

Red Bank Police arrest two from Red Bank, Tinton Falls and another from Fair Haven in connection with four burglaries.

Red Bank Police Tuesday announced the arrest of five individuals in connection with four separate burglary incidents that have taken place in the borough recently. The arrests include two teens charged with breaking into a concession stand, two Tinton Falls men for allegedly stealing a car, and another Red Bank man for breaking into a car at Riverview Medical Center.

The Red Bank Police Department has arrested five individuals on four separate burglary incidents reported over the past two-week period.

In the first two incidents, which occurred at the end of July, two area juveniles were charged with Burglary and Theft for entering the concession stand at Riverside Gardens Park and removing various snacks and drinks. The juveniles, a 14-year-old male from Red Bank and a 15 year old male from Fair Haven were released to their guardians and the case has been forwarded to the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office.

In a separate incident that occurred on the afternoon of August 14, police arrested Robert Manookian, 22 years old, of Tinton Falls and Dwayne Davis, 21 years old, of Tinton Falls and charged them with Burglary and Theft after they were identified as having committed a burglary at a Wallace Street residence. Within minutes of the incident a description of the vehicle involved was transmitted to area police departments and officers from Tinton Falls Police Department located the vehicle and occupants. An investigation by the Red Bank Police Department led to the two subjects being charged with the crime. They were both committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of $25,000 bail.

In a final incident, police arrested a 27 year old Red Bank man, Oscar Tellez-Tlalpichito, when he was found committing a burglary and theft to a vehicle parked near Riverview Medical Center on East Front Street. Tellez-Tlalpichito had entered the vehicle and removed various items including an amplifier, clothing, and a purse. During the investigation, all of the missing property was recovered at the defendant’s residence. Tellez-Tlalpichito was charged with Burglary, Theft, Criminal Mischief, and Hindering his Own Apprehension. He was committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of $51,000 bail.
