Money, Phone Stolen From Parked Cars, Police Say

Robbery and criminal mischief also makes this week's Red Bank police blotter.

The following is a list of crimes reported in Red Bank between Feb. 28 and March 6. The police blotter is provided directly by the Red Bank Police Department and is reproduced here, unedited.

Criminal Mischief occurring on 3-1-14 at Catherine St. residence. Victim reported that unknown subject(s) attempted to gain entry and broke glass window of door. No entry gained. Ptl. Michael Zadlock.  

Criminal Mischief reported on 3-1-14 at West St. Victim reported that during the past three weeks incidents of criminal mischief have been occurring by unknown person(s). Report of fluorescent bulbs being broken and thrown on front lawn, bottom lock of apartment was tampered with and two garbage cans were stolen. Theft occurring between 3-1-14 and 3-2-14 at W. Westside Ave. Victim reported that pocketbook was stolen from parked vehicle. Purse contained cash, misc. I.D. Ptl. Shane Dengel.  

Theft occurring on 3-2-14 at Leighton Ave. Victim reported that unknown person(s) stole a cell phone from inside of parked vehicle. Ptl. George Travostino.  

Theft occurring on 3-3-14 at West Front St.—Gym. Victim reported that unknown person(s) stole a bicycle, which was parked outside, described as a Royal Blue Ross 10 speed bike. Sgt. Robert Clayton.  

Robbery occurring on 3-3-14 at Bridge Ave. Victim reported that she was approached by three unknown males who stole her backpack, which contained medication and identification. Sgt. Robert Clayton.  

Criminal Mischief occurring at Willow Street business on 3-4-14. Victim reported that unknown person driving a vehicle smashed into fence damaging gate portion. Sgt. Robert Clayton.
