Multiple Drug Indictments for Red Bank Man
Indictments stem from allegations the man sold drugs to undercover officers.
Red Bank resident Anthony Smith was recently indicted by a Monmouth County Grand Jury on allegations he sold drugs to undercover officers from the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
Smith, 28, of Drs. James Parker Boulevard, was indicted on five counts. According to the Grand Jury, enough evidence exists to try Smith on charges that he not only possessed a controlled and dangerous substance with intent to distribute, in this case cocaine, but also sold it to an undercover officer.
According to court documents, the alleged sale took place in Count Basie Park on Oct. 19, 2011.
