Police: Holiday Arrests on Drunken Driving, Drug, Assault Charges

Recent activity from the Red Bank Police Department

Red Bank police made the following arrests over the holidays, for crimes ranging from assault to drug possession:

  • Gabriela Arias, 26, of Red Bank was arrested on Jan. 2 in the area of Leighton Avenue on a simple assault charge.
  • Rafael Valladares-Aparicio, 45, was arrested Jan. 1 in the area of Wallace Street on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
  • in the area of Montgomery Terrace on charges of simple assault and criminal mischief. 

Police said he damaged a Montgomery Terrace woman's truck and choked her. Police said Dismuke threw bicycles at the woman's Dodge Durango, causing more than $2,000 in damage. He broke the windshield and caused dents to the hood and front end, according to court documents.

Police said they also found red marks on the victim's neck after he choked her.

  • David Coluccio, 21, of Holmdel was arrested Jan. 1 in the area of Maple Avenue on a disorderly conduct charge.
  • William Bolten, 26, of Fair Haven was arrested Jan. 1 in the area of Monmouth Street on a drunken driving charge.
  • Richard Saitta, 37, of Freehold was arrested Dec. 30 in the area of West Front Street on a disorderly conduct charge.
  • Kevin Reed, 52, of Fair Haven was arrested Dec. 30 in the area of St. Mary's Place on a drunken driving charge.
  • Michael Sidisin, 35, of Clearwater, Fla., was arrested Dec. 29 in the area of West Front Street on a disorderly conduct charge.
  • Theodore Pick, 37, of Laurence Harbor was arrested Dec. 29 in the area of West Front Street on a simple assault charge.
  • Guadalupe Gutierrez, 36, of Lakewood was arrested Dec. 29 in the area of Monmouth Street on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
  • in the area of Monmouth Street on charges of possession of marijuana under 50 grams, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and unlawful possession of a handgun.

Police said McMahon was observed trying car doors on South Street. After he was confronted at 2:30 a.m., police said he resisted arrest by "hiding behind a wooden fence in the bushes" and tucking his left arm under his body so as to not allow police to cuff him, according to court documents.

McMahon was searched after being arrested and was found to be in possession of an unloaded semi-automatic handgun that he did not have a permit for, according to a complaint filed with Superior Court.

McMahon was held on $26,500 bail, with a 10 percent option.
