A warrant has been issued for the arrest of an area homeless man in connection with a November Red Bank burglary.

Kenneth S. Persico, 47, listed as homeless, allegedly burglarized a building at 255 Shrewsbury Ave. on Nov. 13 at about 3 p.m., stealing roughly $2,000 worth of copper pipes and $1,400 worth of water meters, according to the complaint warrant issued by Red Bank police.

Persico, according to Red Bank police records, was also arrested on Dec. 1 in the area of Evergreen Terrace and charged with defiant trespassing.
