Police Investigate Possible Bank Street Murder

Police remain on scene investigating the incident, which took place early Sunday morning.

Shards of broken glass and yards of police tape are all that remain of a violent Bank Street scene that may have taken the life of one person Sunday morning.

Police are reporting that multiple persons were treated for stab wounds following an incident at 9 Bank Street in Red Bank just before 4 a.m. Sunday morning that may have involved alcohol.

Several nearby neighbors, including a local business owner, say that one is dead in the attack, though police would not confirm.

A neighbor who declined to be named said the large home was being rented to multiple hispanic families. She said there haven't been any incidents there before and that the people living there have been mostly quiet in the past.

A neighbor called police after hearing bottles being smashed outside of the residence, which sits next to a Laundromat and convenience store. Red Bank Police and detectives from the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office continue to investigate the scene.
