Red Bank Man Indicted on Shrewsbury Heroin Possession Charge
Kyle D. Pape was arrested in Shrewsbury in August.
A Red Bank man has been indicted on heroin possession charges stemming from an August incident in Shrewsbury.
Kyle D. Pape, 27, of 19B Rector Place, Red Bank, was arrested on Aug. 12 in Shrewsbury and charged with one possession of a controlled dangerous substance, heroin, the indictment said.
Pape, according to the original complaint warrant, was found, by arresting officer Tracy Polk, to allegedly be in possession of 13 wax paper baggies that contained heroin.
He was held at the time of the arrest on $30,000 bail with no 10 percent option.
An indictment does not constitute a conviction. It is an opinion rendered by a grand jury that there is enough evidence to move forward with prosecution. The charges will be answered in court.
