Red Bank Police: $1K Stolen from Condo

Incidents of theft and burglary are being investigated.


Red Bank police are investigating the following reported incidents of theft and burglary:


• A theft was reported to have occurred sometime between Aug. 30 and Sept. 6 at a Riverside Avenue residence. The victim reported that $1,000.00 in cash was stolen from a condominium bedroom.  Patrolman Nicholas Maletto is investigating.


• The theft  of a check from a vehicle parked on Newman Springs Road was reported to have occurred sometime between Sept. 6 and 7. Patrolman Patrick Kennedy is investigating.

• The burglary of a W. Bergen Place residence was reported to have occurred on Sept. 8. The victim reported that someone entered their home and stole a 46-inch Samsung TV, baseball cards and coins. Capt. Darren McConnell is investigating. 

• The theft of a purse containing an iPhone and wallet from a West Street restaurant/bar was reported to have occurred on Sept. 7. Later that evening, the wallet was recovered, but not the purse or phone. Patrolman Nicholas Maletto is investigating.
