Red Bank Police Arrest Borough Man on Unlawful Weapons Charges

Several arrests were made from Oct. 9 to 15.

Red Bank police made the following arrests on various charges from Oct. 9 to 15:

• Ross Marcovitz, 26, of Red Bank, was arrested on Oct. 9 in the area of Riverside Avenue and charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of weapons for an unlawful purpose, possession of penetrating bullets, and discharge of a weapon by Detective Wendy Samis.

• Brian McGlone, 26, of Red Bank, was arrested on Oct. 15 in the area of W. Bergen Place and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Stan Balmer.

• Anthony Morris, 28, of Neptune, was arrested on Oct. 15 in the area of Bridge Avenue and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court by Patrolman James DePonte.

• Mario Sciacca, 33, of Red Bank, was arrested on Oct. 14 in the area of W. Bergen Place and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), under 50 grams of marijuana, by Patrolman Ashon Lovick.

• Samyel Ayazian, 36, of Highlands, was arrested on Oct. 11 in the area of Monmouth Street and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Dawn Shields.

* Police also made seven arrests on contempt of court charges and two on driving while intoxicated (DWI) charges.
