Arrests

Rosemary Pereira-Castro, 41, of Toms River was arrested on July 20 in the area of Monmouth Street on a simple assault charge by Ptl. Nicholas Maletto.

Steven J. Barsolona, 18 of Red Bank was arrested on July 19 in the area of South Pearl Street on charges of possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession with intent to distribute and possession of narcotics paraphernalia by Ptl. Nicholas Maletto.

Andres Caban, 18 of Red Bank was arrested on July 19 in the area of South Pearl Street on a possession of alcohol while underage charge by Ptl. Jorge Torres.

Rigoberto Marin-Vasquez, 30, of Red Bank was arrested on July 19 in the area of Washington Street for terroristic threats and possession of a weapon with an unlawful purpose by Lt. Richard Mangold.

A 16-year-old male from Tinton Falls was arrested on July 16 in the area of West Sunset Avenue on charges of robbery, possession of weapons for an unlawful purpose by Capt. Darren McConnell.

Jason Sherman, 34, male of Holmdel was arrested on July 16 in the area of North Bridge Avenue on a drunken driving charge by Ptl. Ashon Lovick.

Thomas Bernet, 52, of Lincroft was arrested on July 15 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a drunken driving charge by Ptl. Garrett Falco.

Lynn Murray, 57, of Red Bank was arrested on July 15 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on charges of resisting arrest and drunken driving by Ptl. James DePonte.

Guillermo Farias, 20, of Bronx, NY, was arrested on July 13 in the area of Monmouth Street on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and aggravated assault by Ptl. Heather Pubylski.

Criminal mischief, thefts

A victim reported thefts occuring from July 10 to 13 at a South Street location. Someone gained entry to the home and stole a credit card, camera and Toshiba laptop, police said.

Police took a report of criminal mischief that occurred between July 13 and 14 at Leonard Street, where someone punctured all four tires on a parked vehicle.

Graffiti was reported on several pieces of park equipment at Marine Park on July 14.

A West Front Street business owner reported to police that someone damaged three pots containing flowers and a metal sign in front of his business.

A lawn mower was reported stolen from an Evergreen Terrace residence on July 16.

A motorist parked in the Wallace Street lot reported a damaged tire after someone drove a nail into it.
