Red Bank Police Blotter: Theft and Criminal Mischief

Red Bank Police Department provides a blotter of recent police activities on a regular basis. Here it is, from Sept. 23 to Sept. 30, unedited:

Theft occurring between 9-24-11 and 9-25-11 at Washington Street. Victim reported that unknown person(s) entered parked vehicle and removed approx. $20.00 worth of quarters contained in a plastic bag. Ptl. Ashon Lovick.

Burglary occurring at Monmouth Street on 9-26-11. Victim reported that unknown person entered his parked vehicle, opened center console and things appeared to be out of order. Nothing reported stolen. Inv. Wendy Samis.

Burglary occurring at E. Newman Springs Rd.—Liquor Store on 9-27-11. Police responded to a burglary alarm. Found a door on north side of building with pry marks, entry gained. Stolen was cash, several packs of cigarettes and bottles of liquor. Ptl. James DePonte, Det. Joey Fields.

Theft occurring at East Bergen Place on 9-28-11. Victim reported that unknown person stole a Dyson Vacuum Cleaner from the elevator while she was in the process of cleaning the building. Ptl. David Smith.

Theft and Criminal Mischief occurring on 9-29-11 at Bridge Ave. Owner of residence reported that items were stolen and damaged from vacant residence. Reported stolen were stainless steel sink, wrought iron arched doors (2), 18 ft. custom wood bar top, a sewer ejection pump, 3 wrought iron flower pot holders and a motion detector. Theft occurring on 9-29-11 at Catherine St. Victim reported that unknown person(s) entered two parked vehicles and removed compact disks and inactive credit cards. Lt. Daniel Bannon.

John Topping, age 50 male of Middletown was arrested on 9-29-11 in the area of Monmouth St. for Contempt of Court by Ptl. Robert Campanella.

Scott Richardson, age 29 male of Maplewood, NJ was arrested on 9-25-11 in the area of Broad St. for DWI by Ptl. Matthew Ehrenreich.

Michael Jenks, age 25 male of Tinton Falls was arrested on 9-23-11 in the area of Wallace St. for Poss. of CDS, Marijuana under 50 grams by Ptl. Matthew Ehrenreich.
