Red Bank Resident Indicted on Armed Robbery, Weapons Possession Charges

Khadijah E. Younger was indicted on three charges


A Red Bank resident has been indicted on armed robbery and related charges stemming from a September Neptune incident.

Khadijah E. Younger, 20, of 16 E. Westside Ave., allegedly committed the crime of armed robbery by inflicting bodily injury or using force on a victim by being in possession of and threatening to use a deadly weapon, a handgun, while committing the robbery on Sept. 8 in Neptune, the indictment signed by Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni, said.

Younger, according to the indictment, did not have a permit to carry the weapon and used it unlawfully against the victim and/or property.

Younger has been indicted on the following charges: armed robbery, a first-degree crime; possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, a second-degree crime; and unlawful possession of a weapon, a third-degree crime.
