Red Bank Woman, 19, Faces Drug Charges; Held on $390K Bail

Among the drugs police say they found in her possession: 102 glassine bags of suspected heroin stamped with "King Kong" in purple ink.

A 19-year old Red Bank woman was arrested on July 5 and charged with possession of heroin, crack cocaine and diverse Schedule II narcotic pills.

Janelle C. Hendrex of Montgomery Terrace in Red Bank was charged with possession of suspected heroin packed into 102 glassine bags stamped with "King Kong" in purple ink;  a quantity of less than 5 ounces of suspected cocaine in a knotted plastic bag and less than 5 ounces of suspected crack cocaine, also in a knotted plastic bag; 30 light blue pills labeled "A215" of suspected oxycodone hydrochloride; 25 round blue pills labeled ABG 15; suspected morphine; and 10 rounds of green pills labeled "OP 80" suspected oxycontin.

In addition, she faces charges of intent to manufacture, distribute or dispense the drugs.

Hendrex is being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution of Freehold in lieu of $390,000 bail, as set by Judge Honora O'Brien Kilgallen.

Her first appearance before a judge is scheduled for July 22.

An arrest is not a conviction, and every defendant is presumed innocent until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt at trial.
