Report: Woman Survives Leap in Front of Train Arriving at Red Bank Station

An as-of-yet unidentified woman has reportedly survived a jump in front of a train at the Red Bank station on New Year's Day.

The woman, whose name and age have not been released by NJ Transit officials, was witnessed leaping into the path of the oncoming train headed north to New York at about 11:20 a.m., according to a report on app.com.

She sustained injuries and was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, the report said.

NJ Transit police are investigating the incident.
