A young Red Bank man, who was wanted on several thousand dollars worth of outstanding warrants, led Red Bank police around town in a chase before he was apprehended and arrested on resisting and disorderly conduct charges as well, according to a report on app.com.

Christopher Jones, 25, was first seen at Marine Park at about 6 p.m., the report said, when he took off near Broad and Front streets and through Marine Park again.

The chase lasted about 45 minutes, according to the string of Breaking News Network email reports, that tracked the chase from the time Jones was seen to the time he was reported to be in custody.

Jones ended up being caught in the White Street parking lot and arrested on the more than $4,000 in warrant charges as well as disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, the report added.
