Shrewsbury Police: Minors Found With Alcohol Near Sycamore Avenue

Shrewsbury police reported a variety of incidents in its blotter for the week of March 23-29:

  • March 24: Shrewsbury police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident near Route 35. The driver, 32-year-old Daniel A. Becerra-Tapia, was charged with driving under the influence. No parties were injured. Patrolman Ryan Cullinane investigating. 
  • March 23: Two juveniles were taken into short-term custody after they were allegedly found with alcohol in the area of Sycamore Avenue. The minors were later released to parents. Sgt. Michael Gallagher investigating.
