Shrewsbury Police Report $9,000 Theft

The following information was obtained directly from Shrewsbury Police Department records. It does not indicate convictions.

Shrewsbury police reported the following incidents in the past week:

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Broad Street on April 13. The victim reported that belongings and damages incurred totaled $640.

• There was a report of a theft in an area of Avenue at the Commons on April 16.

An investigation resulted in the arrest of Joseph J. Mangone, 21, of Matawan, on the charge of the theft.

The incident was investigated by Patrolwoman Mary Ellen Jennings and Detective James Ramsey.

• There was a report of theft in the area of Broad Street on April 17, with damages totaling $635.02.

Patrolman Ryan Cullinane is investigating.

• There was a report of theft of services in the amount of $9,000 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on April 17. The victim reported services rendered with no payment made.
