Shrewsbury Woman Indicted on Forgery Charges

Resident passed forged checks in Eatontown, grand jurors charge

A Shrewsbury woman has been indicted on charges accusing her of passing forged checks.

Debra Joseph, 33, of Crawford Street was indicted by a Monmouth County grand jury Wednesday on charges of theft of movable property, forgery and uttering a forged instrument.

Joseph is accused of forging checks and cashing them at Sovereign Bank in Eatontown from April 16 to Sept. 3.
