There's a full agenda for the Red Bank Borough Council meeting tonight Wednesday night.
It starts off at 6:30 p.m. with some appointments to the Environmental Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustment and Library Board.
There are also some special events to approve, such as: the filming at producer/director Kevin Smith's Jay & Silent Bob's Secret Stash store on Broad Street now through September; the annual sidewalk sale at the end of the month; Lunch Break's annual picnic at Count Basie Field in August; Count Basie and Two River Theater galas in September and October; and, yes, Dog Days of Summer, starting once a month on July 30 through Halloween.
There are also several ordinances up for public hearing and final adoption. Two involve the leasing of police cars and general equipment from the Monmouth County Improvement Authority.
Another is for the authorization of a $596,000 bond to replace the borough's bulkhead on the banks of the Navesink River. And there is also a bond of up to $1.6 million for capital equipment and improvements.
