Red Bank Councilman Mike DuPont wasn't about to let being a little bit out of town stop him from attending Wednesday's meeting.
Mike DuPont was in North Carolina Wednesday night attending a in Red Bank.
Though the borough had more than quorum - every other council member was there in public aside from DuPont - DuPont still attended, in spirit anyway, through a BlackBerry set on speaker phone and set near a microphone.
DuPont, who's up for reelection this year, is in North Carolina visiting family. He remained on the line through the voting portion of the meeting, and even took a moment to remind the public of an upcoming budget hearing.
