Fort Monmouth Golf Course Reopens Friday

If you're a Suneagles golfer, better keep this weekend free, because the forecast is bright and the course is set to reopen on Fri. Sept. 30 at dawn.

Closed by the Army since Aug. 31, the Suneagles Golf Course will reopen for play this week, says its new operator, 

Atlantic Golf's CEO Stephen Rice said Tuesday that this year's members will be receiving a detailed email about changes, frequently asked questions and rates Tuesday. You can read more about the here. 

"They should be advised that I may not have everyone’s email address," Rice told Patch in an email, "so they are encouraged to email me their contact information, including email address at steve@linxgm.com."

Beginning Wednesday at 8:30 am, Rice said anyone can call the new pro shop at (732) 389-4300 or (732) 389-9090.

Rice also said that his company is still working on contracts with Restaurants, which he says will eventually operate the banquet facilities, but that the process of applying for a liquor license has already begun.
