Barack Obama may have carried New Jersey en route to a presidential re-election but donors in Shrewsbury Borough favored Republican contender Mitt Romney.
Neighbors in Red Bank gave their monetary support to Obama, however.

While the Obama campaign received far more donations from Shrewsbury residents than did Romney's campaign, the former Massachusetts governor hauled in more total money than did the Obama campaign.
