Shrewsbury Council Incumbents Stave Off Write Ins

Four members earn reelection in an uncontested race.

In Shrewsbury’s uncontested council race, four council members were reelected to four seats, including two full three-year terms and two one-year unexpired terms.

Michael DeNofa registered 535 votes and Bill Dodge received 529 votes to return to the board with new, three-year terms. In the one-year unexpired race Jeffrey DeSalvo received 524 votes. And Anthony Pellegrino led all vote getters with 550 votes.

Write-in candidates received nine votes in total, including seven in the full term election, however, it proved to not be enough.
