Red Bank Library & The Community YMCA Summer Safety and Reading Series

The Red Bank Public Library and The Community YMCA are partnering to offer a new Summer Safety and Reading Series for families with children ages 6-12. Designed to help ensure a safe summer filled with opportunities to learn, grow and thrive, the series began on May 22 and runs through Aug. 28.

“As an organization dedicated to nurturing the development of children, the Y is pleased to collaborate with the Red Bank Public Library on helping children learn ways to develop safe habits while encouraging a love of reading,” said Linda Ambis, Executive Director of the Y’s Family Health and Wellness Center in Red Bank.

Mary Faith Chmiel, Librarian of the Red Bank Public Library, said “We love having this opportunity to partner with the Y, as we both believe in the importance of childhood enrichment, whether through sports and athletic activities, or through reading and creative pursuits.”
