Teen Success Coach and Author, Julie Carrier will speak on "BeYOUtiful You"

The Junior League of Monmouth County (JLMC) and the Fair Haven PTA will present an evening with Teen Success Coach, Julie Carrier.  As seen in millions of home, Julie is the girl’s success coach for the Emmy Award winning #1 hit positive goal setting TV shows for youth, “MTV’s MADE”.  This is a FREE forum for Mothers and Daughters who are in 4th – 8th grade from 7:00 – 8:30 pm at the Knollwood School located at 224 Hance Road in Fair Haven, NJ.  

 

Featured on NBC’s Today Show, Fox News Channel, The Education Channel and The New York Times, Julie Carrier is a leading authority in student leadership and positive youth development.  She recently authored, BeYOUtiful! which is considered one of the a best new books in the country for girls on success and self-esteem,  BeYOUtiful! is being called a “big sister in a book” by youth-serving professionals, parents, and girls alike.

Moms and daughters prepare to laugh, smile, cry and hug your way to a closer and stronger relationship in this powerful presentation on the importance of mother-daughter relationships, open communication and support.  Develop a greater self-confidence and defining real “BeYOUty” and learn how to help your girls stand up, step out and learn what it means to be a woman of character and excellence.

All proceeds raised will go to support the JLMC, an all-volunteer nonprofit organization, which prepares its members to serve as leaders and catalysts for change through extensive volunteer and leadership training.

 

The JLMC’s current community focus is on empowering women in crisis to learn the basic life skills they need to be independent. The JLMC is comprised of approximately 300 women, living in both Monmouth and Ocean counties, who give over 20,000 hours of volunteer service each year. Membership is open to any woman, age 21 or over, with an interest and commitment to voluntarism.
