Pendant Prize Benefits Charter Fitness Effort

The Red Bank Charter School held a pendant raffle to help raise money for "Go for the Goal," a fitness campaign.

Members of the Charter Community Organization gathered at Sunday to choose a winner for a diamond pendant raffle used to raise money for the school's fitness campaign.

After selling tickets for the raffle for a month, Alan Fisher was given the honor of pulling the winning ticket. According to the CCO, Krystyna Jakimowicz of Mendham won the diamond pendant valued at $4,000.

According to a release, the collaborative fundraiser will benefit our “Go For the Goal” fitness campaign.

"We couldn’t have done it without the generosity and support of Alan Fisher of A.H. Fisher Diamonds!" an email from the group read.

The money raised will help improve the school's playground.

The exquisite diamond pendant necklace being raffled was donated by local jeweler A. H. Fisher Diamonds of 46 Broad Street.

"As a former Red Bank resident and student of the Red Bank Public School System, (Mechanic Street, River Street and Red Bank Regional High School Class of 1971), it is my great pleasure to provide support to the Red Bank Charter School by donating the diamond pendant for the RBCS fundraising effort," said Alan Fisher, owner of A.H. Fisher Diamonds. “The pendant is a Ladies’ 14 Karat White Gold Diamond Cluster Pendant and chain. The diamond color is D-E, clarity is VS, total diamond weight is 1.21 carats and its retail value is $4000"

“We’re so grateful for the community’s support of our ‘Go for the Goal’ initiative. With our focus on fitness, the enhanced play area will allow us to expand our physical education and recess activities for all the children,” said RCBS Principal Meredith Pennotti. “And we’re especially grateful to A. H. Fisher Diamonds for so generously making this raffle possible.”
