RBC Season Ends With Lopsided Loss to Top-Ranked St. Joe's of Montvale

Caseys lose 42-7 in NJSIAA Non-Public Group 3 semifinals Saturday in Montvale

Red Bank Catholic's dream season is over.

Despite steamrolling Shore Conference competition en route to a 10-0 record, the Casey's are home without a berth in the NJSIAA Non-Public Group 3 final after being dominated Saturday by St. Joseph Regional of Montvale, 42-7.

St. Joseph, the top-ranked team in New Jersey, held RBC to just 65 total yards and four first downs in the semifinal game played in Montvale, according to All Shore Media.

The Green Knights amassed 348 total yards in the game.

"Definitely their speed was a difference," RBC lineman Josh Klecko told All Shore Media. Their skill guys are really good. They're insane — a whole different level."
