The Red Bank Catholic Academic Team took first place in the Monsignor Donovan High School Academic Challenge.
The 22nd annual academic competition at the end of 2013 drew students from 26 area schools including Biotech and MAST, according to an RBC release.
Questions varied and tested students’ knowledge in all subject matters from physics and ancient history to current events. The competition sponsor, World Volkswagon of Toms River, donated cash awards to the winners.
Red Bank Catholic will present its award in the form of a college scholarship to a graduating senior member of the Academic Team.
