Natalie Christ created the video

Red Bank Regional High Schools television station's (RBRTV) Technical Director Carl Grillo has submitted a student's bullying PSA video to Classroom Close-Up.

Classroom Close-Up is an NJTV show that features innovative programs in New Jersey classrooms.

If chosen, the video, created by Natalie Christ, will be broadcast on a future episode of the show.

The video features bullying statistics and calls for students to report cases of bullying.

When people hurt you over and over, think of them like a sandpaper. They may scratch and hurt you a bit, but in the end, you end up polished and they end up useless. Many children are frightened of telling because they fear the bullies will find out and hurt them even more. So, We parent in order to help our children we should talk with our child and work out ways of solving the problems and reassure them that they were right to tell you. As a way of helping everyone especially the parents, who find it quite hard to manage time, I found this great service which featured a safety app which gets me connected to a Safety Network or escalate my call to the nearest 911 when needed, it has other cool features that are helpful for your kids with just a press of a Panic Button. To try to help combat bullying, songs can teach children about kindness and tolerance. The song “Be a Buddy, not a Bully” can be heard on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Or7WPUtUnRo

I was once a victim of bullying, there were times that I want to end up my life or those people who made fun on me. But by the support of my family who made me feel that I'm important and loved, it gave me confidence to fight for it. You will never be bullied if you will not allow others to bully you. This is now my principle! With my family who is always there in times of need, I felt secured! I want to share this safety solution that I'm using to immediately ask for help to my family and loveones if I need them - http://safetrec.com/
