RBR Student Video Helps Jersey Shore Chefs Win $10K

The ACF Jersey Shore Chefs Association won a regional nutrition outreach challenge and are headed to the national competition.

The video skills of two Red Bank Regional (RBR) students helped the ACF Jersey Shore Chefs Association win $10,000 for its nutritional outreach program.

On October 16, the ACF Jersey Shore Chefs Association brought elementary school students to the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties in Neptune to teach them about food and proper nutrition on Childhood Hunger Day.

RBR students Niko Allen and Damian DeSena were on hand to video the experience for the ACF Jersey Shore Chefs Association. The association included the video as part of its submission to the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation (ACFEF) Chef & Child Foundation's regional competition, which the group won last month.
