Free Hands-On Introduction to Rowing – Saturday, May 12 in Red Bank

Try your hand at rowing - for fun, fitness, recreation and competition - when Navesink River Rowing holds its Spring Open House, Saturday, May 12th,  9 am to 1 pm,  at the end of Maple Ave (off W Front St) in Red Bank. The event, which is free and open to the public, features rowing mini-lessons - on land using rowing machines and on the water - site tours, refreshments and an opportunity to sign up for adult learn-to-row classes, boat use memberships or an array of very popular summer youth programs.  NRR rowers of all ages and backgrounds will be on hand to share their experiences and answer questions.
