The Community YMCA Aquarockets Swim Team Excels at Princeton Swim Meet

Congratulations to The Community YMCA’s Aquarockets who competed in the 2013 Fall Festival of X-Cellence Meet.  The meet was held at Princeton University on October 19th & 20th. We are proud to announce the results for the swimmers who placed in the top eight spots:

10 & under: Isabelle Erskine, 10, fifth in the 200 free (2:30.64), fifth in the 100 free (1:09.24), sixth in the 100 IM (1:19.74); Eva Kottakis, 10, seventh in the 200 free (2:33.73); L.W. The Community YMCA Red Bank Aquarockets is a competitive swim team that competes in the National YMCA Swimming and Diving, and the USA Swimming organizations.  The Y’s swim team consists of approximately 275 swimmers between the ages of 6-18, practicing in two locations, the Red Bank Family Health and Wellness Center and Camp Zehnder in Wall.  There are a variety of practice levels from the novices in Green to the nationally ranked swimmers in Senior 1.  The team is coached by full time and part time professional coaches, who are supported by both the Community YMCA Administration and Swim Team Parent Association.  For more information about the Aquarockets visit the team website at www.aquarockets.com
