The Community YMCA Bayshore Family Success Center Hosts Information Session for Parents with Kids Still Affected by Sandy
Has your child had trouble adjusting since Superstorm Sandy? Our newly opened Bayshore Family Success Center will be hosting an information session for parents whose children may be affected by heightened anxiety due to experiences related to this devastating storm. It will be held on Wednesday, August 14 from 7-8 p.m. at the center, located in the Union Beach Memorial Library, 810 Union Ave., Union Beach.
The presenter will be The Community YMCA’s Ellen Bloom-Rau, MSW, LSW.
Parents are encouraged to bring their children. While attending the information session, we will be showing a special edition of Sesame Street, which addresses the questions and anxiety children have as a result of an environmental crisis.
