Shrewsbury First Aid Responds to 369 Calls

The squad is also running its annual fund drive.

The Shrewsbury First Aid Squad has been very busy this year.

So far, the volunteer squad has responded to a total of 369 calls, with 122 of them having occurred in the third quarter of the year, according to the squad's public information officer Rolf Kamp.

Of the 122 calls responded to in the third quarter, half, or 56, were to residents, and the other 56 were to businesses, Kamp said.

He would also like to remind people that the Shrewsbury First Aid Squad's annual fund drive is in full swing. "Thanks to those who have generously made donations," he said. "Reminder cards have been mailed to those who may have missed our initial request."
